Panel: The human side of AI product management, augmenting, not replacing, judgment
In an era where AI can automate analysis and generate plausible solutions, the core value of senior product leadership is shifting from execution to judgment. This panel explores how Product Managers can leverage AI to augment their decision-making, vision, and empathy, rather than allowing it to replace the critical human elements of their role. Senior product leaders will discuss practical strategies for defining the optimal human-AI synergy, establishing ethical "Human-in-the-Loop" frameworks, and developing the new set of non-technical skills required for success. The session will challenge leaders to re-examine their KPIs, focusing on metrics that measure the improvement of human judgment quality (augmentation) over simply tracking model performance (automation). Ultimately, we address how to future-proof the product leader's role, ensuring human insight—particularly around strategy, empathy, and risk-taking—remains the driving force behind innovative and responsible AI products.
